(1.25) Thought is transmuted into character and character is the magnet that creates the environment of the individual.
Character is the vibe/vibration others “feel” about us.
(1.26) The control factor of every commercial pursuit is the mental element.
“Mental element” refers to mind; the nature of our thought/directed attention.
(1.27) Mind is the ruler and creator of all form and all events occurring with form.
Mind is internal commentary.
Form is all manifestation with the physical (objective) world.
(1.28) Concentration operates by the development of perception, wisdom, intuition, and sagacity.
Perception is awareness. Wisdom is applied knowledge. Intuition is the “voice” of Self, our “observer dialogue” who is able to make suggestions that conflict with our evolutionary instincts. Sagacity is discernment, discrimination and judgment with regards to an ability to make sound and healthy decisions.
(1.29) Intuition is superior to reason because it does not depend upon existence or memory and frequently brings about a solution to our problems by methods of which we are in entire ignorance.
Reason is intellectual rumination.
Existence refers to evolutionary “habits.” Our brain does not “delete” information that was once useful to the survival of our species, it adds to it. See triune brain.
Memory, in this context, is learned behavior, that may or may not be subconscious.
(1.30) The symbol is the outward form of the spiritual activity within. Therefore, unless we possess the spiritual reality, the form dissapears.
Form is physical manifestation. All form is symbolic.
Spiritual activity is the principle of cause and effect. Every thought is a cause. Every condition, an effect. (1.7)
Spiritual reality is an awareness and initiative to engage this principle. (1.6)
