(8.24) The Universal Mind–in which we live and move and have our being–is one and indivisible. This makes it just as possible to give as to receive.
Because Universal Mind is present within each individual (omnipresent) and because thinking is the cause and conditions are the effect, then our thoughts towards others can affect their predominant mental attitude.
(2.29-30) We give thought. We receive thought, which is substance in equilibrium and is constantly being differentiated in form by what we think.
(8.23) To absolutely convince yourself of the truth concerning the conditions you desire to see manifested in life is the method for destroying all forms of fear.
We destroy fear by directing the object of our attention to conditions we desire to see manifested.
(8.22) The real “I” is spiritual and can, therefore, never be less than perfect.
If you have $1,000,000 in the bank but choose to live in poverty, this does not change the fact that you have $1,000,000. As an outlet for unlimited creative power, we are constantly empowered to live the life of our greatest imagination regardless of how we choose to think.
(8.21) Every system of metaphysics depends upon a knowledge of the truth concerning ourselves and the world.
All metaphysical, spiritual, and religious systems exist to resolve existential questions that arise in ego as a result of egos attempt to resolve the polarity between the unconscious nuerological program of nature/biology, with emerging consciousness. Ego is the bridge.
(8.20) Constructive thinking is a recognition of the creative nature of spiritual energy and our ability to control it.
Thought is spiritual energy. Taking the initiative to control our thoughts is constructive thinking.
Concentration is so important because it allows us to control our thoughts; and since every thought is a cause, every condition is an effect. Therefore, if we control the cause, we control the effect. (6.9)
(8.19) The source of all harmony is constructive thought.
Constructive thought places us in harmony with natural law/the creative potential of nature. When we are in harmony with nature, we can direct this creative potential.
