(8.18) The source of all chaos is destructive thinking.
Destructive thinking is ruminating mind directing attention toward conditions of lack, limitation, disease, poverty and discord of every kind. This may be our subconscious default, acquired through belief systems we have developed or inherited, in which case we must ” reprogram” our subconscious.
Directing our attention toward conditions we fear is giving them attention, and what we give attention to influences our attitude–which creates conditions.
(1.9) Discord, disharmony, lack and limitation are the result of destructive thinking.
(8.17) Thought is spiritual and, therefore, creative. To consciously control thought is to, therefore, control circumstances, conditions, environment and destiny.
Directing our attention is conscious control of our thoughts.
(8.16) Thought is the great business of life.
Because our thoughts determine how we will experience conditions (by creating our attitude, which acts as a filter of experience) the most important thing we can do is learn to control our thoughts.
(6.7) Concentration is the highest personal achievement that can be acquired. It is the distinguishing characteristic of every successful man or woman.
(8.15) We may take our fate out of the hands of chance by constantly realizing the conditions we desire to see manifest in our life.
We realize the conditions we desire to see manifest in life with gratitude. Actively acknowledging the opportunities and potential for the fulfillment of our desires creates an emotional feeling which is necessary to act upon the Universal and bring our desires into manifestation.
(8.14) Spiritual power depends upon use. Use determines its existence.
Spiritual power is our ability to act upon the Universal by directing our attention, and bringing our desires into manifestation.
(8.13) Success depends upon spiritual power.
Success depends upon our ability to direct our attention/concentrate on the conditions we desire to manifest in our life.
