8th Key (a)

(8.1) The imagination is a form of constructive thought. It is the light that penetrates new worlds of thought and experience; the mighty instrument by which every great discoverer or inventor opens the way from precedent to experience.

(8.11) Wealth depends upon an understanding of the creative nature of thought.

(8.21) Every system of metaphysics depends upon an understanding of the truth concerning ourselves and the world.

Imagination is what empowers visualization and idealization, again–as I frequently reinforce–for good or ill. It is the responsibility of conscious mind to ensure the quality of our thoughts which imagination entertains will produce effects that we desire rather than lead to suffering.

(8.30) The result of constructive thinking is we will come to know “The Father” as Universal Mind/Original Divine Awareness, which really and truly does live within us and all things are possible and can be demonstrated by anyone with sufficient understanding.

(8.20) Constructive thinking is a recognition of the creative nature of spiritual energy and our ability to direct it.

(8.10) Keen analytical observations leads to opulence and harmony.

Constructive thinking puts us directly in touch with spiritual energy-the force of love, which is an expression of Universal Mind /Original Divine Awareness. The first “crack in the egg,” so to speak, is the ability to distinguish between ourselves as the observer and the observed. We must be able to observe our behavior to transform it. Who is doing the observing? How is this observer different than the “you” who is behaving?
