(2.1) There are two modes of mental activity–conscious and unconscious.
(1.2) All possession is based on consciousness.
(2.3) The value of the subconscious is enormous. It guides us, warns us, controls the vital processes, and is the seat of memory.
(1.4) We relate to the Universal Mind by the subconscious mind. The solar plexus is the organ of this mind.
(2.5) Conscious mind is reasoning will. Subconscious mind is instinctive desire, the result of past reasoning will.
Within each mode of mental activity are many consciousness states that can be explored. We are usually possessed by one or more consciousness states. The subconscious is a default “ordering” of the consciousness states we rely on to navigate our experience. The Universal Mind is the source of all creative potential. The unconscious is the “environment” where Universal Mind exists in static form.
(1.6) Our ability to think is our ability to act upon the Universal and bring it into existence.
(2.7) If our desires are in harmony with the great whole, forces will be set in motion to bring about the desired results.
(1.8) Harmonious and desirable conditions are obtained by constructive thinking.
(2.9) This is cause & effect.
(1.10) All power comes from within–the Universal fountain of supply; the infinite energy of each individual, and outlet.
Thought is connecting link between the individual and the Universal. (2.25) The “great whole” is natural law; the principle of life. Constructive thinking is directed attention that supports our ideal state. Thought is the cause. Our perception of conditions–which directs our decisions and, thus, creates new conditions, is the effect. Power is our ability to change perception/conditions.
(2.11) Wealth is the offspring of power.
(1.12) Constructive thinking is the condition precedent of all constructive action.
(2.13) A knowledge of cause & effect allow us to plan courageously and execute fearlessly.
(1.14) If we know the truth, we can readily predict the outcome of any action based on a true premise.
(2.15) Thought is the connecting link between the finite and the infinite.
Wealth is abundance. Constructive action is action that supports our ideal state. A knowledge of cause & effect produces confidence. The truth is whatever is believed. The individual is finite. The Universal is infinite.
