(8.2) The cultivation of the imagination leads to the development of the ideal out of which your future will emerge.
Imagination is visualization that supports our ideal state. Cultivation is consistency.
(7.12) Difficulty and obstacles are necessary for wisdom and spiritual growth.
Difficulty is challenge. Obstacles demand that we adjust our path. These are necessary skills on the road to the liberation of our authenticity from ego.
(6.22) We are spiritual beings and this spirit must, necessarily, be perfect.
Imagine Universal creative potential is an ocean and every individual is a bottle that has been filled with water from this ocean. Spirit is the inherent substance of universal creative potential (Brahma) within every individual. More than an ability to communicate, spirit is, literally, a piece of Brahma.
(1.2) All possession is based on consciousness.
We are possessed by what captures our attention. Whenever our attention is directed towards an object of thought, we experience a shift in consciousness.
(1.9) Discord, disharmony, lack, and limitation, are the result of destructive thinking.
Destructive thinking is directed attention toward what does not support our ideal state.
(6.29) This system will meet every human requirement or necessity.
The “system” is Cause & Effect (The Law of Attraction).
(7.19) A knowledge of the truth invariably destroys error. We do not have to laboriously shovel the darkness out. All the is required is to turn the light on. This same principle applies to every form of negative thought.
The “truth” is that all thought is a cause. If we want to change the cause, we must ascertain the thought or idea by which the effect is created.
(8.9) Keen analytical observation leads to opulence and harmony.
Keen analytical observation is an eager willingness to scrutinize our behavior in an effort to discover the cause (thoughts) that result in specific conditions.
There’s a lot of wisdom here. I like the image of ‘shoveling the darkness out’!
