The law of growth depends upon reciprocal action. The Individual is complete at all times and this makes it possible to receive only as we give. (2.28)

We need only to focus on our ideal and free ourselves from trying to imagine or direct the form our ideal will take.

Cause & effect rests on vibration which, in turn, rests on love. This is the principle which gives thought its dynamic power. (4.15)

Need, want, and desire, all originate from thought.

Universal Mind is the creative principle of every atom in existence. (1.5)

(2.22) We may control other forms of intelligence by a recognition of Self as an individualization of Universal Intelligence.

Other forms of intelligence refers to the psychological forces and biological drives that manipulate human behavior.

We give thought to others by thinking of them.

(3.29) Cause & effect is the principle by which faith is brought forth into manifestation.

Faith is a belief in the manifestation of desire.

(4.9) The silence is a physical stillness.

Remaining still allows us to gain a greater awareness of how our physical body feels.

(4.1) Thought is spiritual energy.

Thought is spiritual energy because thought is the means by which the individual and the Universal interact.

(3.11) Inductive reasoning is a process of the objective mind in which we compare a number of separate instances with one another until we see the common factor that gives rise to them all.

Inductive reasoning is a method of observation that allows us to discover patterns that result from our thoughts and actions.

(2.21) Individuals are measured by the degree of intelligence they manifest.

Intelligence is the pursuit of knowledge and a consistent integration of this new knowledge we have gained.

(2.30) We receive thought, which is substance in equilibrium and is constantly being differentiated in form by what we think.

Thought is conceptual (substance in equilibrium) and takes form when we begin to direct our attention to these concepts and mold them into our desired form.

(3.20) A recognition of cause & effect allows us to plan courageously and execute fearlessly.

We plan courageously by intentionally directing our attention to thought and actions that support our ideal state.

(4.10) The silence is the first step towards self control; self mastery.

Self mastery is the ability to hold our attention on thoughts and desires that support our ideal.

(8.25) Universal Mind is the totality of all existence.

Universal Mind is the creative principle of the universe. (3.10)

(3.5) The result of this disruption (of energy throughout the body) is every ill which the human race has been inflicted.

Illness arises when there is a deficiency of energy.

(2.15) Thought is the connecting link between the finite and the infinite.

Finite is temporal. Infinite is eternal.

(1.25) Thought is transmuted into character and character is the magnet that creates the environment of the individual.

Character is the resonance created by our thoughts vibrating. This resonance is the “vibe” we send out to others and they filter this “vibe” through their experience with others.

(1.26) The control factor of every commercial pursuit is the mental element.

The mental element consists of keeping your thoughts directed on your ideal and free from attachment to your desire; we must focus on the ideal rather than how we desire the ideal to manifest.

(2.26) The Universal creates form by means of the individual.

Thoughts are like motion, the Universal like strings on an instrument, and form is the music created.

(3.6) This energy can be controlled and directed by conscious thought.

Thought is spiritual energy, because it is the connecting link between the individual and the Universal. (2.25) It may be consciously directed by taking initiative to ensure our thoughts support our ideal state. It follows that our actions must, also, support our ideal, which – in turn – ensures our thoughts will continue to support our ideal.

(8.26) Universal Mind is omnipresent. It exists everywhere. There is nowhere it is not. It is, therefore, within you. It is all spirit and life.

Universal Mind is omnipresent because it exists within each individual.

(8.24) Universal Mind, in which we live and move and have our being, is one and indivisible. This makes it just as possible to help others as it is to help ourselves.

Every individual is “plugged in” to the same power source.

(3.4) The distribution of energy throughout our body may be interrupted by resistant, critical, discordant thought, but especially by fear.

Energy is distributed from our Solar Plexus.

(2.14) Life originates in the inorganic world, only by the introduction of a living form. There is no other way.

Universal Mind is the life principle of every atom in existence. (1.5)

(1.24) The nature of our desires must be in harmony with natural law.

Natural law is the harmonious relationship between our thoughts and our ideal.

(1.27) Mind is the ruler and creator of all form and all events occurring within form.

Form is created by the feeling generated by our thoughts.

(2.17) Causation depends upon polarity; a circuit must be formed. The Universal is the positive side of the battery of life. The individual is the negative, and thought forms the circuit.

The circuit is formed by feeling.

The Universal is unlimited creative potential.

(3.7) Fear can be eliminated by and understanding and recognition of the true source of power.

The true source of power is our predominant mental attitude.

(4.27) Universal mind is spiritual and, consequently, creative. It seeks to express itself in form.

Universal Mind is spiritual because it is activated by thought.

(8.23) To absolutely convince yourself of the truth concerning the conditions we desire to see manifest in life is the method for destroying all forms of fear.

Truth is manifested in conditions produced by our predominant mental attitude. Therefore, to destroy fear is to “reprogram” our predominant mental attitude. We do this by consistently, and intentionally, directing our thought.

(3.3) The solar plexus is the central point of distribution for energy which the body is constantly generating.

We relate to the Universal Mind by the subconscious mind. The solar plexus is the organ of this mind. (1.4)

(2.13) Possessions are of value only as they confer power.

Power is the ability to adjust conditions to support our ideal state.

Possessions are symbols of spiritual activity, because they indicate specific states of mind we desire or have desired.

(1.23) Spiritual truth is the control factor in this method of thought.

Spiritual truth is a knowledge of thoughts creative power.

(1.30) The symbol is the outward form of the spiritual reality within. Therefore, unless we possessed the spiritual reality, the form disappears.

Symbols possess our thoughts. If symbolic form does not possess our thoughts, it is a merely an object that contains no value.

(2.20) Thought will correlate with it’s object and bring it into manifestation because thought is a product of the spiritual man and spirit is the creative principle of the universe.

We are spiritual beings because we have the ability to interact with creative potential by thinking.

(3.10) Universal mind is the creative principle of the universe.

Universal Mind is the “all father” of every religion.

(8.30) The result of constructive thinking is you will come to know “the father” as Universal Mind, which really and truly does live within you and all things are possible and can be demonstrated by anyone with sufficient understanding.

All things are possible because Universal Mind is a symbol of unlimited creative potential.

(8.22) The real “I” is spiritual and can, therefore, never be less than perfect.

The real “I” is the conscious expression of the Universal within each individual.

(3.2) The sympathetic system of nerves is the organ of the subconscious mind.

Fight, flight, or freeze is an example of the sympathetic system of nerves.

(2.12) Possessions are of value only as they confer power.

If possessions are not tools that support our ideal state, they are weapons (that oppose our ideal).

(1.22) Invisible forces are, then, set in motion and irresistibly bring about conditions in correspondence with our thoughts.

Invisible forces are the gravity by which thought is manifested in form.

(1.29) Intuition is superior to reason because it does not depend upon existence or memory and frequently brings about a conclusion to our problems by methods of which we are in entire ignorance.

Intuition is the connection between the individual and the real “I.”

(2.19) A conscious recognition of cause & effect with a desire to be a recipient of it’s beneficial effects will result in success.

A conscious recognition gives way to a willingness to remain adaptable.

(3.9) To awake the solar plexus, mentally concentrate on conditions you desire to see manifested in life.

The solar plexus is the visualization center of the adept.

(8.29) Constructive thinking is clear, decisive, calm, deliberate, sustained thought, with a definite end in view.

The Master mind holds ideas big enough to counteract or destroy all petty and annoying obstacles. (6.27)

(8.21) Every system of metaphysics depends upon a knowledge of the truth concerning ourselves and the world.

“Truth” is what happens as a result of interaction between the individual and belief.

(3.1) The cerebral-spinal system of nerves is the organ of the conscious mind.

Nerves are the information highways of the body.

(2.11) Wealth is the offspring of power.

Power produces abundance.

(1.21) The true method of concentration is to become so identified with the object of our thought that we’re conscious of nothing else.

Mind is like a drinking bowl. If you are unsatisfied with the contents, you must replace them with your preference. This is more satisfactory if you empty the previous contents rather than add something new to what already occupies the bowl.
