Ignorance is a lack of information or an unwillingness to discover and/or apply new information
The law of attraction is Cause & Effect.
Thought is carried by the law of vibration (4.1), just as sound and radio waves are.
Universal Mind is the creative principle of the universe.
All thought is interaction with creative potential.
A lower rate if vibration is denser/heavier. The foods we consume, like all living things, vibrate at a specific rate.
Desirable conditions support our ideal state.
Knowledge is new information that will require us to adapt.
Daydreaming is visualization that does not support our ideal state. Imagination is visualization that supports our ideal.
Our perception of conditions are the effect of thoughts, which are the cause.
Rumination is evidence of the creative nature of thought. Mind is actively creating a story around the thoughts we entertain.
Universal Mind is the creative principle of the universe.
The subconscious receives its governing tendencies from heredity. (5.4) These “governing tendencies” are the default attitudes that determine our behaviors unless the conscious mind actively seeks to “reprogram” these defaults.
The Solar Plexus is the central point of distribution for energy which the body is constantly generating. (3.3)
We determine our perception by our predominant mental attitude; the result of the majority of our thoughts.
What we direct our attention to becomes our perception and what we perceive becomes our experience.
Cause & effect is a scientific principle because we can observe effects corresponding with thoughts.
If we direct our attention toward our goals, invisible forces are set in motion to bring about the desired results. (1.22)
Imagination is visualization that supports our ideal state. Cultivation is consistency.
Difficulty is challenge. Obstacles demand that we adjust our path. These are necessary skills on the road to the liberation of our authenticity from ego.
Imagine Universal creative potential is an ocean and every individual is a bottle that has been filled with water from this ocean. Spirit is the inherent substance of universal creative potential (Brahma) within every individual. More than an ability to communicate, spirit is, literally, a piece of Brahma.
We are possessed by what captures our attention. Whenever our attention is directed towards an object of thought, we experience a shift in consciousness.
Destructive thinking is directed attention toward what does not support our ideal state.
The “system” is Cause & Effect (The Law of Attraction).
The “truth” is that all thought is a cause. If we want to change the cause, we must ascertain the thought or idea by which the effect is created.
Keen analytical observation is an eager willingness to scrutinize our behavior in an effort to discover the cause (thoughts) that result in specific conditions.
Imagination allows us to mentally create pictures that support our ideal state while daydreaming is visualization that compromises our ideal.
We must learn and grow from every experience.
Every thought is a cause. If we want to change conditions (effects), we must change the cause. Every thought contributes to the formation of our predominant mental attitude.
The world within is the inner world of thought and feeling. The world without is the world of action and speaking.
Each individual is a channel whereby creative energy (The Universal) expresses itself in form.
Both science and religion arose from the ability of the individual to observe patterns.
Integration is the application of new information. We must remain teachable.
… Abundance and peace.
(4.25) Constructive thinking is the ability to adjust our thought process the will of the Universal; to cooperate with Natural Law.
The Universal is unlimited creative potential. It is cosmological. It is Brahma. It is cosmic consciousness.
The Will of the Universal is love. Love is one of three dimensions of cosmic consciousness.
Spirit arises out of the awareness of cosmic consciousness. Spirit, in turn, makes it possible for the individual to communicate with the Universal. Awareness is one of three dimensions of cosmic consciousness.
Nature is an expression of the Universal manifested in physical form.
(5.11) Any purpose in life may be achieved through a scientific understanding of the spiritual nature of truth.
What we believe will determine what we achieve.
Purpose is synonymous with meaning. One of the quickest ways to transcend being possessed by conditions we face in life is to find purpose within the condition. We locate this purpose by creating it. We avoid suffering by creating purpose in the midst of difficulty and obstacle. Are you refusing to give up what you not longer need at the expense of what you do? Recognize the opportunity change offers to grow into the person you aspire to be. Reaching our ideal state is contingent upon transformation, and we can avoid suffering by embracing this process.
Scientific understanding is based on observation. Facts are based on consistent, measurable, observations.
(3.11) Inductive reasoning is a process of the objective mind in which we compare a number of separate instances with one another until we see the common factor that gives rise to them all.
“Spiritual” refers to the interaction between the individual and creative potential. This interaction happens as a result of thought.
We must differentiate between truth and facts.
“Truth,” is what we believe. It is subjective, based on an individuals experience.
(1.7) The nature of truth is spiritual. Therefore, a knowledge of the truth is necessary for every business transaction and social relation. (1.3) Honesty is a knowledge of what another believes; their truth. Our personal truth is our belief.
(3.11) Inductive reasoning is a process of the objective mind in which we compare a number of separate instances with one another until we see the common factor that gives rise to them all.
The “common factor that gives rise to them all” can be clearly and consistently demonstrated. (8.30) Consider gravity an example, as well at the necessity of breath for life.
Resistance to Inductive Reasoning usually indicates an “absolute truth” script, wherein the individual avoids taking responsibility as a result of a belief system that reinforces their inability of dealing with anything that infringes upon their comfort.
Introspection is a result of existential dilemmas; ongoing questions that have no definitive objective answer beyond subjective experience or faith. “What is my purpose?” “Is their a God?” “What is the meaning of life?” “What happens after I die?”
No one is disputing gravity or the necessity of breath to sustain human life, nor is faith required to believe in these claims, which is why we they are referred to as facts. They can be consistently demonstrated.
“Tyrannical prejudice” is an expression of someone clutching so fiercely to their “absolute truth” script that they are trying to pass off their subjective experience as fact, despite the inability of their claim to be consistently demonstrated. This is, by no means, limited to religion, and extends into any instance in which an individual feels it is appropriate to use fear to capture the attention of others.
